1. Lázár Equestrian Park – dinner with horse show
Situated 35 kms from Budapest, in the heart of Domonyvölgy, the Lázár Equestrian Park is owned by the coach driving world champions, Vilmos and Zoltán Lázár. The resort nestles among the picturesque lakes of the Gödöllő Hills. It is a favorite destination of local and international tourists alike, seeking a venue for various programs and functions, for relaxing, adventure accompanied by genuine Hungarian hospitality. They have lodges of various styles where up to 750 guests can enjoy together the highlights of Hungarian cuisine accompanied by Gipsy music. Specialties for the discerning palette include oven-baked lángos, grill party and roast piglet on the spit.
Every day, by prior arrangement, they hold a Horseshow for a minimum of 20 guests, at 11.30am and 5pm.
On arrival at the park guests are welcomed with fresh scones topped with crackling or cheese and seeds, fruit brandy („pálinka”) and mineral water.
At the end of the program the guests are invited to take part in a pleasant coach trip through the woods as well as visit the Lázár Equestrian Park. The program is presented in Hungarian, German and English, as required.

2. Európa Boat
Európa Boat is not only the largest and most well-equipped event boat of Hungary, but it is also unique in Central Europe with its unique technical and catering facilities, conference rooms, dressing rooms, smoking area, 330 m2 sun terrace.
The 660 m2 of usable floor space is enough for approx. 650 people in case of seated reception, and for about 1 000 in classic reception.
Boating on River Danube makes the dinner a very special experience where guests also have the opportunity to get to know to the amazing sights of Budapest located along the Danube.

Programs for accompanying persons
1. Guided sightseeing tour in Budapest, visiting the Szamos Marzipan Gourmet Palace and the Central Market Hall
This tour starts with a ’rapid’, 1,5 hour-long sightseeing tour introducing the main highlights of Budapest. Participants will have the opportunity to get off the bus at Heroes' Square and to take some photos there.



Then the tour continues by visiting the Szamos Marzipan Gourmet Palace where participants can get to know to the proccess of making marzipans, they themselves will have the opportunity to make their own personal ones.



After lunch, the day continues with making a short visit to the Central Market Hall which is one of the largest market halls in Europe. Tourists can find here a wide choice of fruits, vegetables, meats, cheese, flowers, handicrafts, clothing, embroider, souvenirs and other specialties.

The tour finishes by taking a walk at the famous Buda Castle and by viewing its main highlights, e. g. the Mathias Church, the Hungarian National Gallery and the National Széchényi Library. The castle was declared as a World Heritage Site in 1987.
The excursion will be taken by air-conditioned buses and it includes a lunch and all the entry fees.

2. Cooking course at the famous Gundel Restaurant
Participants will be taken to the restaurant by air-conditioned buses in the morning hours. During the 4-hour cooking show they will have the opportunity to prepare a three-course menu which consists of typical Hungarian dishes. After the hard work they can consume the dishes made by them accompanied by a glass of wine, a cup of coffee or tea and a bottle of mineral water.



At the end they will receive the recipes in English in order to be able to prepare the courses at home as well.

POST-CONFERENCE TOURS

1. Northern Hungarian Wine Tour, visiting Eger and Tokaj
The Northern region of the country is especially rich in wine growing districts and a wide range of wines can be found here: gourmands have a huge choice from the light white through the full-bodied red to the naturally sweet wines. Wine growing appeared in Eger region as early as the 11th century and Tokaj wine was well-know and very popular already in 12th century.



The tour starts at Budapest in the morning. After a 1,5-hour-long drive the participants will arrive to Eger where our guide drives them around and shows them the main sights on a walking tour. After discovering the fortress and the city centre participants will have a traditional Hungarian lunch joined by wine tasting.



Then the tour continues with visiting the marvelous Tokaj Wine region, where we encourage the participants to taste the well-known Tokaji Aszú, the most famous wine of the region as well.

Tokaji Aszú - "the king of wines, wine of kings"-said Louis XIV - is a dessert wine produced of botrytised (i.e. "nobly" rotten) grapes.
The picturesque landscape of Tokaj is part of the Unesco World Heritage sites since 2002.

Spending a wonderful day at Lake Balaton
After arriving to Lake Balaton by air-conditioned autobuses, the tour starts with visiting of the Tihany Benedictine Abbey, established by King Andrew I in 1055. The monastery's deed of foundation is the oldest Hungarian document preserved in its original form. The new church of the abbey is one of the most attractive examples of Baroque architecture.



After visiting the abbey, a lunch with Hungarian culinary specialties and wine tasting will take place at a ’csárda’, which is a traditional Hungarian-type restaurant.

In the afternoon the day finishes by visiting Balatonfüred which is one of the most popular resort towns of Hungary situated on the north shore of the lake. It is considered to be the capital of the Northern lake shore and has significant yachting life. It is also a favorite location for coarse fishing, carp being the most common catch. Participants can take a walk along the old-fashioned Tagore promenade which is surrounded by tall trees and has got many shops, restaurants, cafés and ice cream parlors.
